Doctrinal Statement

To be a part of Abba Father’s Fellowship you must agree with the following:

This ministry is dedicated to praying and fasting for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit until Jesus Christ, the Groom, comes for his bride, his Church. We believe that this outpouring will continue until Jesus comes for his bride. This is commonly called the Rapture.

Acts 2:17-21 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

We live in expectation of the Groom coming for his bride.
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13

The Holy Bible is the very word of God in and the final authority in all matters. (See Note following about Bibles.)
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16.

Note: For English-speaking people there are many translations. We recognize the King James Bible as the word of God for the English language, because the modern translations have removed Luke 4:18, “he sent me to heal the brokenhearted,” along with many other verses. The ministry to heal the brokenhearted only can be ministered from the KJB and the NKJV.

For other languages, please check Luke 4:18 to see if it is complete in your translation. If not, switch to another translation or use the King James Bible. It is most important that we are in agreement about what is the Word of God is.

There is only one God. Within the Godhead is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." 1 John 5:7

Jesus of Nazareth is the only begotten Son of God.
"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." John 1:18

The fall of man into sin was literal, and now because of sin all mankind is separated from the holy God of Israel.
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned..." Romans 5:12.

The penalty for sin is death, and on the cross Jesus Christ paid that penalty.
"For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23.

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." 1 Peter 2:24.

The complete ministry of Jesus Christ includes providing believers with forgiveness of sin and assurance of eternal life, along with healing for the brokenhearted.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18

God literally raised Jesus of Nazareth’s body from the dead.
"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." Romans 8:11

There is a literal Second Coming of Jesus Christ. When He returns, He is coming with the Clouds of Heaven, His Church.
"Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:64.

God will raise all unbelievers from the dead for judgment; then they will be cast into a literal hell.
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." Revelation 20:12.

"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." Matthew 25:41
